Alligators are super cool. They're prehistoric animals that have survived millions of years. The alligator has gotten a bad rap because they're so scary looking (and bite people). As soon at the babies hatch they cry out to mommy. The mommy finds them, picks up their eggs, and brings them to a nursery and gently help them out of their eggs. In the past when people saw alligators putting eggs in their mouth they thought they ate their young but later found were carrying them gently to them to safety. Babies cry out for mommy by making a cute squeaking sound. It's really neat to see the babies crawling and swimming around mommy while squeaking (just like puppies or kittens).
